Here we are, on our way to customs and immigration

What the heck, EU citizens don't even have to talk to anyone to enter, just had to scan my passport (and then now I'll wait for wife to go through the pleb line)

Bags were fine, customs just a "exit here if nothing to declare", amazing that you don't need people asking

Took the train to Geneva station and swapped to another to get to my dad's, think I'm on like 6 hours of sleep total

Also bless up that this train has AC it's muggy and hot and it's like 8am...

Made it to dad's place

Apparently 2% milk can't be called milk here because it's adulterated. It's just Drink (or milk drink)

So far low key energy saving mode at his place, dad went to a physical therapy appointment for his shoulder since he had a full replacement like 2 weeks ago or so? Wife is sleeping and I'm trying to stay awake until bed time to force reset my clock

That plan failed badly, i took a nap for the last like 3 hours? Now I'll go with my dad to the hardware store then pick up our rental car for the week

Before the nap spiced up some pizza bases with extra ingredients for lunch

Now grabbed the drill bits after a nice walk, the character of the city is markedly different than NA cities and the mountain in the background kind of reminds me of El Ávila in Caracas, will take a pic that shows it, now on the way to the airport to pickup the rental

Waiting to pick up the car, there was someone else here but he was talking and asking lots of stuff so it took him a while, I also noticed Genevan French accents are very easy to understand for me which is a W.

The rental place next to mine has a schedule orchestrated by the utterly deranged

Just got back, got a hybrid, about to eat arepas, here you can kind of see the mountains in the background

Said arepas with some tzatziki the neighborhour sent up on the elevator, fennel salad then the more traditional cheese, carne mechada and pollo mechado with black beans

Time to sleep, today was a very relax and unwind from trip day and tomorrow is also chill since wife is also working, but we'll go out for lunch and I'll figure out what to do with the day, the real adventure starts Saturday morning when we drive off into some picturesque place
