Day 7 - Aare Gorge Environs + Lenk #genevajordan2022

Finally caught up to today, waking up was fine, had a nice shower that cleared up all of the previous days sweat from the hiking to the humid sweats. Then we a had a great traditional breakfast spread

After that it was time to drive to the final destination of the adventure road trip, Lenkerhof gourmet spa resort, which as you may imagined is a spa hotel. Need to have some words with the road builders for the part in the second pic but I guess with mountains can't blame 'em

It's a very luxurious feeling hotel (because it is) and a great way to end the days of hiking and exertion.

It has some nice pools and views and saunas (hot and cold). Soon we check into our rooms properly. Finally caught up!

Went up to our rooms and saw a Roomba on the way

Room is (unsurprisingly) very cute and a perfect place to relax

They gave us some champagne, no sparkling wine for us! right after we arrived (along with barbeque chips for some reason, apparently chips with wine is kind of common here)

They have a pillow menu?

Now dinner time

Dinner was really good, it's a full menu where you choose 5 dishes, could be 5 apps, 5 mains, 5 desserts, you do you, my favorite was probably the tartare, pics are tartare, pork, risotto, veal

Then here trout, cheese platter, passion fruit + pistachio dessert, chocolate dessert

The cheese platter is insane, all you can cheese from local swiss cheeses

Then it was sleep! Fell asleep early around midnight and caught up on sleep a bit.
