10 - Kyoto and Shizuoka

Today is onsen town day in Shizuoka in the Izu peninsula, relaxation day. We will probably not even hit 10k steps but we've earned it I think

Checked out of Tsugu (big recommend the hotel), sent our bags to Tokyo now heading to Kyoto station

Shinkansening to Nagoya to switch to the Shizuoka train

Just realized the title of this thread shouldn't be Shizuoka but Shuzenji... Read the address backwards.

Arrived at Shuzenji, am hour and a half to kill before check-in

Very picturesque small town, wish it were not as hot out while exploring though!

And a few more before we wait for check-in to open

Really cute room, the lady explaines everything in such a soft voice with understandable japanese
