11 - Shuzenji and Tokyo

Very nice night, had a massage, the sound of the bath in the room kept perma running overnight as a simulacrum of the glorious stream in Miyajima so it was a good sleep. Nice food, nice hot baths, nice partner to do it with, what more can you ask.

If anything I think we are dreading Tokyo a bit after the awesome last few days, she feels it's just gonna be overwhelming big city and I have never really felt like I super enjoyed Tokyo outside maybe a day or two my first trip for unrelated reasons

On the bust back, breakfast was Japanese style which is not the favorite for one of the people in our group (not me)

Now on the train to Mishima, the bus is not tines well as it arrives like 2 minutes (scheduled) time before the previous train so waiting like 10 mins

Caught the shinkansen google said we couldn't (by running) so made it 30 mins early, hunting for lunch now

Had a small sandwich at a cute terrace and walked a bit hunting for things, she wanted some cross-stitch patterns but the first place only had very low-rez ones...

Then she stopped at a nails place and I looped around while waiting, I saw the Kokyo Gaien National Garden of wasn't too far so headed there but it was farther than it looked and also too huge so I doubled back and stopped for a very good cup of coffee

Checked in at the hotel, we were planning our Disney Sea day and I felt the hotel swaying and checked and apparently there was a big earthquake in the north, it was swaying for a few minutes but it's like nothing happened after that here

Ended up going to the Shinjuku Station area, shopped around a bit, some shirts and a couple smaller cross-stitch sets

And most importantly the real reason went there is my goat, the 3x eaten last trip, the doner sando stand! Price went up by 90 yen though since 2019... And the wrap went up 200... Terrible times

Now early night for Disney Sea tomorrow
